"During June of 2002 I first lost my peripheral vision. Then a couple weeks later I lost complete vision. After a brain biopsy, it was determined that I had two lesions of inflammation on my occipital lobe. After visiting with about 20 – 30 neurologists the cause is still unknown. Some say it is MS and some say it was a virus that attacked my brain. It was and still is a serious matter. As a result from the acupuncture, my sight has gotten a lot better. My peripheral vision all came back and now my central vision is becoming a lot stronger. After reflecting on my experience with acupuncture, I am reminded of all the ways that it has strengthened my progression to where I am today. After losing my vision to two lesions on my brain, my frustrations still linger as I am left without a cause and a diagnosis. After seeing many medical doctors and making no progress, the thought of ever getting my eyesight back seemed like a lost cause. "I have hyperthyroidism. I had enlarge right thyroid. My T3 was was 394 instead of 159 as an uppper range. My T4 was 3.9 instead of 1.8. I was very tired all the time.
After my allergy elmination, my thyroid is in normal shape, My T3 and T4 just a bit higher then normal. During basic treatment I got rid of my allergy to oranges and grapefruits. "On January 15, 2007, I was diagnosed in the Emergency Room at Lahey Clinic with Stage 4 Lung Cancer, with metastases, primarily, to the brain (six sites). Beginning radiation treatments immediately, my first outreach beyond the medical community was to meet with Sung. It was the best judgment call I made.
